Not Me Monday

Last week some of my Homeschool Crew friends wrote their first Not Me Monday posts. I did NOT think that I could never do that, because I never have anything that funny happen to me.

I was quickly rewarded with some material after that.

Last Monday, I did NOT type up a beautiful list for a MONTH’S worth of groceries. I did NOT leave it on the printer when I walked out the door. Then I did NOT remember just as I got to Wal-mart. I did NOT have to call my husband and have him read the list which I did NOT write on the back of the envelope holding my coupons. I also did NOT forget to bring the videos to go back to the library and I did NOT have to stop at home, unload the groceries and go back out to the library at 9 o’clock.

On Tuesday evening, my 11 year old son did NOT call down to me and tell me that the toilet was overflowing. I did NOT jump up in a panic and start screaming for him to turn off the thingy. I always remain calm and remember to use the proper terms for plumbing, like shutoff valve.  It did NOT leave a giant stain on my kitchen ceiling, that did not take 5 coats of paint to cover.

I did NOT forget to use Kilz on the stain before my friend Michelle reminded me. I did NOT decide to go ahead and paint the hall ceiling because I had NOT been living with a line between my kitchen and hall ceilings for over 3 years.

I’m always prompt about finishing home improvement projects.

On Thursday I did NOT go to Walgreens and leave one of my bags in the store. I did NOT fail to notice this until I got home an hour later. I did NOT go back to Walgreens, but forget to bring the receipt so proceed to recite all the contents of my bag to the cashier.

I am NOT thinking about staying in my room this week.
