I can’t believe I finally got around to starting a blog. I’ve been talking about it for months. I don’t have much time to write now, so this is serving as a test to see if I can figure out how this works. My 3 biggest fears about starting a blog are:
1.What am I going to write about?
2.When am I going to have time to write it?
3.Who is really going to care what I have to say anyway?
Here’s just a little info about me. I live in NC with my husband (a public school chemistry teacher), my 8 year son, my 6 year old daughter, and my 4 year old son. We are expecting a baby girl on October 13. We decided to homeschool when our oldest was about 3. At this point I would consider us classical homeschoolers, although somewhat of an eclectical/classical mix. I’ve read the Well Trained Mind and use Story of the World for history. We also use Veritas for our bible study and I’ve become very interested in the Latin Centered Curriculum, though I haven’t read the book yet.
Welcome to the world of blogging! It was a whole new experience for me, as well. But, I think it’s a great thing to do, and the act of sitting down and writing something helps sharpen my mommy brain a little too! LOL! Hope you have fun here!
I hope you will enjoy blogging here @ HSB! I look forward to reading your future posts!
God Bless! – Christohper (Biblekid2) =)
P.S. I am having a contest on my blog – come check it out!
Welcome to HomeschoolBlogger! In answer to your three questions: 1. You will write about what ever you want. 2. Good question 3. We all care about what you write and have to say! I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
