Today was a day I’d been looking forward to. It was our annual Ladies Soup Luncheon at church.
This year I got to decorate for the event (along with another lady), and we had a great time doing it. It was a small event, the church is small anyway, but there were a lot of ladies who could not make it.
But it made for a meaningful time of fellowship. The pastor’s wife challenged us to “bear one another’s burdens”, after which we shared our burdens. There were more than a few tears shed.
Today I am thankful for Godly women who will bear my burdens with me: both those who are older and have walked the road before me, and those who are walking with me along the road.
Church fellowship is a great blessing. So glad you enjoyed your time together. Beautiful table as well.
What a blessing to have Christian sisters to love and grow with while walking alongside one another and bearing one another’s burdens.

It sounds like a wonderful afternoon. It’s so good to have other women who share their strength and lighten our load.
